int2hr - convert integers to "human readable" numbers

SYNOPSIS

int2hr [-i] [-s SEPARATOR] [-f FIELDNUM] [FILE]

DESCRIPTION

If no file is given, uses STDIN.

OPTIONS

-i

Ignore lines where the coversion field is not set (prints them unaltered).

-s SEPARATOR

Use SEPARATOR as field separator, this may be a perl regexp, defaults to \s+.

-f FIELDNUM

Convert FIELDNUM to human readable numbers, defaults to 1. Field numbers start at 1.

EXAMPLES

  # du -sb /home/* | sort -n | int2hr

  ... quite useless, but:
  # ls -la * | int2hr -i -f 5
